Hi, I'm Doğukan, pronounced dough-khan, or 도욱환 in Korean.

Before basketball, there was karting. At 9, I raced as number 9 in a national karting cup in Türkiye.

For almost 10 years, my whole plan was basketball. I wanted to play in the NBA. Then I got injured a few times and had to figure out who I was without the ball.

Korea was supposed to be a six-month exchange. It became the best decision I made.

Now I build support systems for people who come here and feel lost in the same way I did.

Right now I'm building at Hoppers: housing, trips, and community products for people living, traveling, and starting from Korea.

Before Hoppers, I worked on Korea Friends, Sogang Friends, Find Home Korea, Koho, Korean Ice Cream, Low Key Media, and a few other small things.

Most of what I care about is simple: make Korea easier to start from.

Not perfect. But moving.
